Accomplishments
- Created the “Seat 4 Good” high school scholarship program
- Created the ‘Family Portrait Day’ event
- Funded the Billie Dean Community Center at Alonzo Williams Park
- Funded and helped build two new playgrounds at Lake Ave and Alonzo Williams Park
- Funded quality of life events such as the Symphony Under the Stars, the Holiday Pops concert, Independence Day Fireworks, Concerts, and other city events
- Approved master plan for the industrial park that has brought major national brands such as Coca-Cola, Goya, Amazon, and Universal Studios to Apopka
